Summary

Exenia, a leader in professional lighting, was chosen by Hell’s Kitchen Italia to illuminate the kitchens of the fourth edition of one of the best-loved and most ruthless cooking shows on Italian television, led by chef Carlo Cracco.

.

The “hellish” kitchens were the nerve centres in which fourteen professional contestants from the world of catering competed in eight episodes, amidst twists and turns and adrenaline, for the coveted opportunity to become Executive Chef of one of the restaurants of the 5-star luxury hotel J.W. Marriott Venice Resort & Spa. The title was won by Mohamed Lamnaour.

The Exenia lighting, optimally distributing the light, was crucial in facilitating the TV filming and highlighting the actions of the set. Twelve pendant lamps from the Zero series illuminated the contestants’ work surfaces, emphasising emotions and moods, enhancing the dishes of the culinary challenges and the raw materials used.

The Zero pendant luminaires, with fabric shade or corten finish, give maximum effect with the emission of a soft, diffused white light, ideal for creating atmosphere. The design has been conceived to facilitate the indirect component of light, with an understated and elegant style.
