Tornabuoni Art
Located on Via Bocca di Leone, in the heart of Rome, the Tornabuoni Art gallery opened in 2023 as the new venue of the prestigious network founded by Roberto Casamonti in Florence in 1981. The gallery hosts temporary exhibitions dedicated to major figures of Italian and international 20th-century art, featuring monographic exhibitions and retrospectives such as the one devoted to Lucio Fontana.
The lighting project, designed by the Florence based studio ARCHEA, required the highest levels of color rendering, beam quality, and aiming precision, while ensuring the visual invisibility of the lighting fixtures.
To best enhance each artwork and surface, the entire gallery is lined with a ceiling cove that conceals a 230V track fitted with Exenia Revo Small projectors (3000K, CRI 98), available with different optics. These mini spotlights, calibrated for each exhibition, guarantee maximum flexibility and outstanding light quality, adapting to different subjects, colors, textures, and volumes.
The result is a space in which light enters into dialogue with architecture, enhancing the purity of the environment and highlighting each artwork without compromise. Here, light, color, and emotion become one.
